First of all, Yoga's main goal is to connect the person's body, mind and spirit with their higher-self. Through you, people can explore their external and internal powers and their spirit and way of thinking. Many people who do Yoga, even experts say that it is not connected to any politics (but it is better if the person has a political opinion about something, for example, a dictatorship).
The main scientific benefits of Yoga, which are proved by researchers are improved strength, balance and flexibility. By slow movements and deep breathing, blood flow will increase and it warms up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength. Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation or it can ease loneliness and provide an environment for group healing and support. Yoga relaxes you, to help you sleep better, which means you fall asleep easier and also helps you to stay asleep.
There are a number of different anxiety disorders, such as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and specific phobias and with Yoga the person can reduce these kinds of anxieties. Even chronic stress can sometimes be categorized as an anxiety disorder. It also helps in improving the person's self-esteem. There are some factors that affect quality of life are relationships, creativity, learning opportunities, health, and material comforts. But enough of yoga, what is exacly meditation and it's benefits?!
For thousands of years, meditation has been utilized as a means to gain a deeper understanding of the sacred and mystical forces of life. However, in contemporary times, meditation has become a popular method for relaxation and stress reduction. Engaging in meditation practices can provide a sense of calm, peace, and balance that can positively impact your emotional well-being and overall health. By focusing your attention on something calming, you can use meditation to relax and cope with stress. Additionally, practicing meditation can help you cultivate the ability to remain centered and maintain inner peace.
Important fact is that yoga and meditation is for everyone, you don't need a specific physical strength to do them. You just need to focus and try your best.
